As a Software Solution Architect at Fiserv, you will be responsible for leading and building new cloud-native applications within the Global Issuer organizations Architecture team. Your role will involve designing card issuance solutions that cover credit cards, loans, and unsecured lending. To excel in this position, you must possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience in Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exploring new technologies and a demonstrated exposure to various domains including Cloud, UI, Application, Security, and Data architecture. You will collaborate in a cross-functional environment to define end-to-end solutions and collaborate with development teams to refine them. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Engineering and Technology or have equivalent work experience. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of IT experience in designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications is required. Experience in creating context designs, UML, and Entity Relationship diagrams will be beneficial for this position. You should have exposure to a diverse range of distributed and cloud technologies such as Cloud, Containerization, Microservices, Kafka, Java/JavaScript, Quarkus/Spring, XML/JSON, Apigee/Mulesoft, ESB/Datapower, distributed databases like Postgres/Yugabyte, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, PhoneGap/IOS/Android SDKs, CI/CD, etc. The role demands a strong understanding of emerging technologies and their business implications. You should be well-versed in application development technologies, tools, and methodologies, and possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers. Experience in both agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development is required, along with a willingness to mentor junior staff.
