Java Intern

As an individual working in this role at O-Hub, Bhubaneswar, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable microservices using Java and related technologies. Your tasks will include implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, as well as developing and managing PostgreSQL databases. Deploying applications on AWS cloud infrastructure using Docker containers will also be a part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize Git for version control, code reviews, and collaboration. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential, along with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills, will be key to your success. Furthermore, you should demonstrate the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. While not mandatory, the following skills are preferred for this role: working knowledge of AWS and Docker, a strong understanding of software development principles (including Agile methodologies), experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and delivery, familiarity with containerization, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
