Java Intern

As a Java Intern at CAI, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers in supporting the design, development, and implementation of Java applications. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications - Collaborate with team members on software design and architecture - Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality - Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software functionality - Document software features and technical specifications - Provide support for various tasks and projects as required Qualifications Required: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Basic understanding of the Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts - Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Skills: - Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate - Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) - Understanding of database management and SQL Please note that the Java Intern position at CAI involves sedentary work, primarily performed at a computer workstation. This may include sitting or remaining stationary for most of the time with occasional movement around the office for meetings or other activities.
