Java Full stack Support (This is a Support role-No Development)

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of total experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in applications support on one or more of the following technologies:
• Angular
• Spring boot
• Java
• Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups and message tracing
• Exposure to Web RESTful Services
• Exposure to web application deployment and troubleshooting

(WebLogic/Tomcat/JBoss/Kubernetes)
Exposure to Log Management tools like ELK, Datadog etc.

• Exposure to Software Development/Support functions.
• Operations or system administration experience particularly in Linux / UNIX distributions (RedHat, Centos).
• Knowledge of networking concepts.
• Good to have understanding of the distributed caching
• Good to have experience working in Workflow applications
• Understanding of working of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Oracle database and PLSQL
• Good to have experience in implementation of Security policies.
• Willingness to work in shifts or on-call rotation as required

Good grasp of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

Role & responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for enterprise applications built on microservices architecture and Co-ordination with various teams for the production issue.
• Monitor and maintain event flows through Kafka and integration pipelines via Apache Camel.
• Responsible for making changes to the environment such as modifying configuration files Server environment.
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate issues to L3/dev teams where necessary.
• Ensure availability and performance of applications deployed on OpenShift.
• Maintain and update issues and incident logs using ticketing tools.
• Shall able to troubleshoot the API using the tools like Postman.
• Work closely with end users to provide functional support, training, and handholding.
• Perform application failover testing and contribute actively to Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
• Liaise with developers, infrastructure teams, and DBAs for resolution of technical issues.
• Manage and troubleshooting caching layer issues.
• Support Oracle database connectivity and perform basic validation queries.
• Follow change management and deployment processes for production/non-prod environments.
• Prepare and maintain knowledge base, SOPs, and operational documentation.

Responsible for the Prerequisite Health Checks up of application after system upgradation
