Role Overview

Java Microservices Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  microservices

  using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize

  event-driven architectures

  using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streams, schema registry).
• Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging flows, and distributed system patterns.
• Ensure application

  scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance

  (circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, Saga patterns).
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using best practices (TDD/Unit/Integration tests).
• Integrate microservices with

  databases

  : SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Deploy and manage services on

  cloud platforms

  (AWS/Azure/GCP) and use containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate closely with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor service health using tools like

  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk

  , etc.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in

  Java 8+
