Java Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in working with Oracle-based databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing scalable, enterprise-level Java applications and integrating them with Oracle DB environments. You will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing back-end services and database interactions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services. Write efficient and secure SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripts for Oracle databases. Collaborate with front-end developers, DBAs, and other stakeholders to define system specifications. Design and implement RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks related to database and Java code. Perform unit and integration testing of developed modules. Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to coding standards. Participate in code reviews and agile/scrum ceremonies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or later). Proven experience with Oracle RDBMS, including SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle performance tuning. Familiarity with JDBC, Hibernate, or other ORM tools. Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC). Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Ability to debug complex issues across application and database layers. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Oracle 12c/19c environments. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
