Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

Real-Time Processing: Design and operate scalable Spark and Kafka applications for batch and streaming workloads.
Microservices & Containerization: Develop Java-based microservices and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.
Database Management: Model, query, and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Production-Ready Code: Write clean, testable, and maintainable Java code; conduct peer reviews and debugging.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Monitoring & Alerting (Preferred): Implement Prometheus/Grafana dashboards and alerts for system health.
AI-Assisted Development (Plus): Leverage GitHub Copilot for prompt-driven coding efficiency.

Must-Have Skills

Data Warehousing: Hands-on experience in DW concepts, modeling, and optimization.
Big Data & Streaming: Proficient with Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.
Table Stores: Experience with OpenTable or equivalent open-source table technologies.
Databases: Strong SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) skills.
Java & Microservices: Expert-level Java programming and microservices architecture.
Kubernetes: Proven ability to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications.
Software Craftsmanship: Rigorous coding standards, testing, and version control (Git).
