Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
Build RESTful APIs and manage inter-service communication patterns.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Architect and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS leveraging services like EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
Drive code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Product) in Agile/Scrum settings.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and resiliency.
Build monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
In-depth understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Proficient with AWS cloud services and deploying scalable services in the cloud.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and API security.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
Solid understanding of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB/DynamoDB).
Version control with Git and experience with branching/merging strategies.
