Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve designing scalable and robust microservices architecture while working with SQL databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering, development, and deployment will be an essential part of your responsibilities. It will also be your duty to maintain code quality through Git/version control practices and troubleshoot and debug issues across development, test, and production environments. Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development is crucial for this role. To excel in this position, you should possess strong knowledge of Core Java and OOPs principles, along with hands-on experience in the Spring Boot framework. Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs, a good understanding of SQL and Database Management, familiarity with Git and version control systems, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for success in this role. Experience in the banking domain and a willingness to travel when needed will be advantageous. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to containerization tools such as Docker, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
