Job Title: Java Developer with DevOps Experience – Banking / Access Control Domain

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with DevOps expertise to join our team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate will bring a strong backend development background, paired with practical DevOps experience, and domain knowledge in Banking, Access Control, or Attendance Management Systems. You’ll play a critical role in building secure, scalable backend systems and automating infrastructure deployment in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend systems using Spring Boot.
• Build secure, scalable REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems such as biometric or identity management platforms.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and security teams to ensure compliance with standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java (v18+), Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.
• 1+ year experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, shell scripting).
• Familiarity with Access Control Systems (RFID, biometric devices) or Banking Platforms (e.g., KYC, transaction monitoring, digital wallets).
• Experience with RESTful services, OAuth2/JWT, and secure API development.
• Strong database skills: PostgreSQL (SQL) and Redis (NoSQL).
• Working knowledge of Linux, logging/monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
