4+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a proven track record of designing scalable systems in fast-paced environments
Expert in Java and confident working with microservices, serverless functions, etc.
Experience building distributed systems with tools like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, REST APIs, etc.
Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration engines like Temporal, or equivalent — and building resilient async pipelines
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure), containers (Docker), and infra-as-code (Terraform)
A builder's mindset — you thrive in 0-to-1 environments and care about impact
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You're comfortable working cross-functionally with AI teams, design, and product leadership
