Job Title: Java Developer (Remote – Coimbatore)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise with Java 11+ and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in database management and API development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Work with Oracle DB, SQL, JDBC, Hibernate, and HQL for database operations.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, handling data in JSON, XML, and YAML formats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Use tools such as Postman, Eclipse IDE, and IntelliJ IDE for testing and development.
• Optional: Work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Apache ActiveMQ, or Azure Service Bus.

Required Skills

• Java 11 or higher
• Spring Boot 2.7+
• Oracle DB fundamentals
• JDBC / Hibernate / HQL / SQL
• Data Formats: JSON, XML, YAML
• REST API development

Good to Have Skills

• Messaging Protocols: AMQP 0-9-1, AMQP 1.0
• Message Brokers: RabbitMQ, Apache ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus
• Integration Patterns: Publisher/Subscriber, Point-to-Point
• Event-Driven Architecture

Tools & Technologies

• Version Control: Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree, Git Bash
• CI/CD: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle

Eligibility

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in Java Development.
• Strong backend development expertise.
• Available to work remotely with a Coimbatore base location.
