Java Back End Developer

As a Digital Software Engineer Intermediate Analyst at Citigroup, you will be responsible for turning tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms such as iOS, Android, web/Angular, and services. Your main responsibilities will include: - Addressing a variety of responses to problems, questions, or situations by applying established criteria to directly influence development outcomes - Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities including feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs - Accountable for development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code - Engaging in digital applications development, risk technology, Middleware, Mainframe applications, Non-Mainframe applications, Analytic Model Development, and Application support activities - Providing sound understanding of application development concepts and principles and basic knowledge of concepts and principles in other technology areas - Consulting with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommending programming solutions for customer exposed systems - Fully learning the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems involved in projects - Driving clarity into technical implementation and representing your team's systems to others both inside and outside Digital - Building and maintaining integrated project development schedules, negotiating features and priority, and improving team development related processes Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-9 years in an Apps Development role with demonstrated execution capabilities - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data-driven and results-oriented - Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based services - Experience in affecting large culture change and leading infrastructure programs - Skilled at working with third party service providers - Excellent written and oral communication skills You should hold a Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience and have expertise in Java + Spring boot.
