Java Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Role Overview: As an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities to meet specific business needs or user areas. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development - Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation - Utilize specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, and make judgements - Work closely with technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions - Troubleshoot production issues, analyze data and system outputs, and translate business requirements into high-level software designs - Implement high-level designs into robust, secure, and well-tested software, ensuring code quality through reviews and tests - Apply a security-by-design approach to development and configure continuous delivery systems for optimal build and deployment - Ensure engineering standards are applied throughout software development stages and provide technical mentoring to junior team members - Contribute to documentation, recommend security measures, and consult with users/clients on programming solutions Qualifications Required: - Good track record of relevant experience in design and development of Java based systems - 8+ years of working experience in Java 8, Core Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot Restful Services - Proficiency in databases such as DB2/Oracle with SQL, PL/SQL programming expertise - Experience in Core Java, Java EE, ReactJS, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS4, and HTML5 - Familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Integration, JPA, Hibernate, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and MQ - Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, ORM technologies, and version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket - Experience with Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration systems, and Agile Development Methodologies - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering If you are excited about joining a team that provides world-class solutions for asset servicing and transaction functions, and you have the required qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply for this position at our company.,
