Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. ServiceNow ITSM Development

• Configure and customize core

  ITSM modules

  Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB.
• Develop

  catalog items

  ,

  UI actions

  ,

  client/server scripts

  ,

  business rules

  , and

  flow designer workflows

  .
• Implement and maintain

  process automation

  and

  service request workflows

  using

  Flow Designer

  and

  Flow Orchestration

  .
• Support

  platform upgrades

  ,

  data migrations

  , and

  enhancement projects

  .

2. Integrations & Automation

• Develop and maintain integrations using

  REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server

  .
• Implement secure integrations with external systems like

  Active Directory, Monitoring Tools, HR, CRM, or ITOM systems

  .
• Troubleshoot integration issues, log analysis, and ensure data synchronization between systems.
  
• Work on

  custom API endpoints

  and scripting for external data exchange.

3. GenAI / Now Assist Implementation

• Implement

  Now Assist (GenAI)

  capabilities for

  Virtual Agent, Search, and Workspace

  experiences.
• Design

  AI-powered chat workflows

  using

  Virtual Agent Designer

  and

  NLU models

  .
• Leverage

  AI Search and Summarization features

  in Now Assist to improve self-service and agent productivity.
• Work closely with platform architects to integrate

  GenAI capabilities

  into existing ITSM workflows.

4. Technical & Collaborative Responsibilities

• Collaborate with

  platform owners, architects, and business analysts

  to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Adhere to

  ServiceNow development best practices

  and maintain coding standards.
• Provide

  technical documentation

  ,

  code reviews

  , and

  knowledge transfer

  to support teams.
