🔧 Core Responsibilities • Machining Hydraulic Components • Operate lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines to manufacture parts like pistons, cylinders, valve bodies, and flanges. • Ensure dimensional accuracy using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. • CNC Machine Operation • Set up and run CNC turning and milling machines for high-precision hydraulic parts. • Interpret technical drawings and program basic CNC operations. • Assembly Support • Assist in assembling hydraulic systems by preparing machined components. • Collaborate with fitters and technicians during system integration. • Quality Control • Inspect finished parts for defects, surface finish, and tolerance compliance. • Maintain documentation for quality checks and production logs. • Maintenance & Tool Care • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools. • Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of equipment. 🧠 Skills & Attributes Required • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances • Familiarity with hydraulic principles and fluid mechanics • Ability to work with precision tools and measuring instruments • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and process discipline • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., CNC, automation) 🏭 Typical Work Environment • Factory floor or machine shop within a hydraulic manufacturing unit • Collaborative setting with engineers, technicians, and supervisors • Exposure to hydraulic fluids, metalworking, and high-pressure systems
