IT Technician

As an IT Support Specialist at the hospital, your role involves checking daily complaints in the complaint register of each floor and ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. - Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. - Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. - Upgrading the entire system for compatible software on all computers. - Installing and upgrading anti-virus software for user-level security. - Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware. - Providing user support and being the first point of contact for error reporting and timely issue resolution. - Managing technical documentation. - Conducting regular system backups. - Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures. - Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - Developing and managing the IT budget. - Managing IT projects from inception to completion. - Conducting regular audits of IT systems and processes. - Providing training and support to hospital staff on new technologies and existing systems. - Preparing and presenting reports on IT performance and initiatives to hospital leadership. - Performing preventive maintenance of IT equipment and asset coding. - Managing CCTV, its functioning, and data storage.
