Job Description

As an IT L1 Support professional, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance to ensure system availability and reliability. Your duties will include troubleshooting network issues, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects. Additionally, you will conduct network assessments, document configurations and policies, and work with system administrators, security teams, and vendors on infrastructure projects. It is essential to stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VLANs is required. Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, Network Switches, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools is also necessary. Knowledge or experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) would be advantageous. Holding relevant certifications like CCNA or other Network Certifications is preferred. In addition to the technical requirements, basic knowledge of network software and hardware, as well as exposure to IT L1 Support, are expected in this role. Your proficiency in CCNA or any Network Certification is a must to excel in this position.,
