Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support

    Windows (7, 8, 10, 11)

    ,

    Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)

    , and

    Apple macOS

     systems.
  • Set up and manage

    Windows Server (2016, 2022)

    ,

    Active Directory

    , and domain services.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to users across desktop, laptop, and mobile platforms.
  • Configure and maintain

    FreePBX

     and

    Asterisk

     VoIP systems; handle

    GSM Gateways

     and

    IP phone (SIP) registrations

    .
  • Install and support

    softphones

     (e.g., Twinkle) and troubleshoot VoIP communication issues.
  • Perform

    LAN/WAN troubleshooting

    , and configure routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, and proxy servers.
  • Support and troubleshoot

    network and local printers

    .
  • Install and update software, perform OS patching, and monitor system version control across all OS platforms.
  • Maintain and manage asset inventory of all IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Ensure secure and efficient configuration of company

    email systems

    , especially

    Outlook

     and macOS Mail.
  • Set up and troubleshoot macOS-related applications, device configurations, and system permissions.
  • Monitor systems, proactively identify performance issues, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Follow and create detailed technical documentation and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and resolve escalated issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 24 years of proven experience in IT support, system administration, or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Windows, Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), and Apple macOS

     systems.
  • Experience with

    VoIP technologies

    , including FreePBX, Asterisk, GSM gateways, and IP phone configuration.
  • Solid understanding of

    Active Directory, Windows Server, and domain environments

    .
  • Proficiency in

    network configuration and troubleshooting

     (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers).
  • Skilled in

    Outlook/email setup

    , printer configuration, and basic cybersecurity best practices.
