IT Support Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer at our organization in Surat, your role is critical in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure internal systems operation. Your hands-on experience in asset management, laptop formatting, network maintenance, and IT equipment procurement will be valuable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and track IT assets such as laptops, peripherals, and networking equipment. - Format, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for new and existing employees. - Install and update necessary software, operating systems, and security patches. - Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, Antivirus, and firewalls. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. - Ensure proper firewall configurations and security measures are implemented. - Procure new hardware/software assets based on organizational needs and budget. - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. - Collaborate with other teams to address day-to-day IT needs. - Document IT processes, configurations, and issue resolutions. Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar IT support or system administration role. - Strong understanding of operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Hands-on experience with firewall and basic network configurations. - Familiarity with asset management tools and ticketing systems. - Good knowledge of security practices and endpoint management. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, it would be considered a preferred qualification for this role.,
