The Role

Lightfury Games is seeking a dedicated

IT Support Engineer (L1)

to join our Bangalore studio. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our team, ensuring seamless IT operations in a high-paced AAA game development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Set up and configure new desktops, laptops, and peripherals for employees.
Troubleshoot system, printer, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Handle user account management, including onboarding/offboarding and permissions.
Maintain and monitor the IT inventory and ensure timely updates of software and hardware.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement security best practices, including antivirus and data protection measures.
Document solutions for common issues and contribute to the IT knowledge base.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ year of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
Familiarity with gaming software and hardware environments is a plus.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent.
Exposure to game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity is advantageous.
