Job Description IT Hardware Sales & Marketing Executive/Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing professional to promote and sell IT hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in B2B/B2C hardware sales, strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure products, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets for IT hardware products (servers, storage, networking devices, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals).
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, client visits, networking, and digital channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, product presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with vendors/OEMs (HP, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, etc.) and distributors to optimize pricing and solution offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns (events, promotions, digital initiatives) to increase product visibility.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
  • Coordinate with the technical team for solution design, demos, and after-sales support.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2–7 years of proven experience in IT hardware sales & marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware solutions, networking equipment, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing basics.

Preferred Skills

  • Existing network of corporate and channel partners in the IT hardware industry.
  • Understanding of cloud, software licensing, and IT services (an added advantage).
  • Strong problem-solving and client engagement skills.
