Job Description

Understanding Requirements

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, technical skills, and team culture.
  • Analyze and interpret job descriptions for IT roles (e.g., developers, engineers, analysts, etc.).
  • Create clear and compelling job postings.

Sourcing Candidates

  • Source candidates through multiple channels job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), employee referrals, and social networks.
  • Use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and Stack Overflow for niche technical roles.
  • Maintain and update a strong candidate pipeline.

Screening & Evaluation

  • Review resumes and assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate communication, technical background, and availability.
  • Coordinate technical assessments or coding tests (if applicable).

Interview Coordination

  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical panels.
  • Prepare candidates with role details and interview expectations.
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and keep candidates informed.

Offer Management

  • Negotiate salary, notice period, and joining dates.
  • Prepare and extend offer letters in coordination with HR.
  • Manage counteroffers and ensure smooth onboarding.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain effective communication with hiring managers about hiring progress.
  • Provide regular updates and metrics on recruitment status.
  • Build long-term relationships with both clients (for agencies) and candidates.

Database & Reporting

  • Maintain an updated candidate database using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Track recruitment metrics — time to hire, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on IT hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and technology stacks.
  • Provide insights to hiring managers on candidate availability and market demand.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and online communities.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with ATS tools and sourcing platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring deadlines.
