Job Description

IT Recruiter

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies and plans that align with the organization's business objectives and staffing needs
  • Sourcing: Oversee the sourcing and identification of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal databases
  • Candidate Assessment: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, assess candidates, and coordinate interviews and assessments
  • Employer Branding: Enhance and maintain the organization's employer brand to attract top talent, both externally and internally
  • Selection Process: Ensure a smooth and efficient selection process, including offer negotiations, background checks, and onboarding
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, equal opportunity employment regulations, and other relevant recruitment regulations
  • Technology and Tools: Implement and manage recruitment software and tools to streamline and improve the recruitment process
  • Talent Pools: Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet future staffing needs and reduce time-to-fill for critical roles
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process, fostering a diverse workforce

  • Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is typically required
  • Some organizations may prefer candidates with a master's degree
  • Recruitment Experience: Significant experience in technical recruitment, including sourcing, screening,scheduling and selection of candidates, often with a focus on senior or specialized roles
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and motivate a team of recruiters and support staff
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to make informed decisions and improvements in the recruitment process
  • Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the organization's industry and its unique recruitment challenges
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR technology tools
