IT Project Tech Lead - Vice President

The IT Project Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to the directional strategy by considering their application in their own job and the business. They are recognized as a technical authority for an area within the business and require basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are essential in order to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The role has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business, impacting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Responsibilities: Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Interface with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding the status of projects. Recommend and oversee process improvements that have considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in the area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership. Understand how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services. Act as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and allocate work. Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Persuade and influence others through comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills. Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Qualifications: 6-10 years of experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in the overall field. Education: Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
