IT Project Acquisition Manager

About the Role

A Project Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying, generating, and nurturing leads to secure new IT projects. Their role involves building strong client relationships, understanding business needs, and presenting tailored IT solutions. They manage the entire acquisition cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and project conversion—ensuring consistent business growth and alignment with the company’s objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new leads through networking, research, and outreach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
• Prepare and deliver project proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Convert leads into confirmed IT projects and achieve acquisition targets.
• Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IT services, software solutions, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into business opportunities.
• Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or project acquisition roles.
• Networking and relationship-building expertise.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and online business platforms (LinkedIn, Upwork, etc.).
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹55,857.16 per month
