IT Manager - ( Peppybooks ERP )

Role Overview

IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  implementation, configuration, and customization

  of PeppyBooks ERP across functions (HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, Inventory, etc.).
• Act as the

  primary system administrator

  for PeppyBooks ERP, ensuring uptime, access control, and role-based permissions.
• Coordinate with different departments to

  gather requirements

  and translate them into ERP workflows.
• Handle

  data migration, validation, and regular updates

  within the ERP system.
• Ensure smooth

  integration of PeppyBooks

  with other systems (payroll, Tally, attendance, CRM, etc.).
• Conduct

  user training sessions

  and prepare manuals for employees to improve ERP adoption.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with PeppyBooks support/vendor for escalations.
  
• Generate

  MIS reports and dashboards

  for management insights and decision-making.
• Ensure ERP-related activities comply with

  data security, IT policies, and statutory regulations

  .
• Identify opportunities to

  optimize processes

  through ERP automation and new module adoption.
• Provide

  technical support

  for IT-related operational tasks (hardware/software coordination, email setups, etc. if required).

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  ERP systems

  , preferably

  PeppyBooks

  .
• Good understanding of

  HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations processes

  .
• Proficiency in

  data management, SQL/Excel reporting, and system administration

  .
• Project management skills for

  end-to-end ERP rollout and enhancements

  .
• Strong

  analytical and problem-solving abilities

  .
• Excellent communication and training skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendors.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in

  Information Technology / Computer Science / Business Systems

  (or equivalent).

• 8 years of experience

  in ERP implementation/management, with at least

  2+ years in PeppyBooks ERP

  (preferred).
• Experience in

  retail, manufacturing, or consumer business ERP environments

  is a plus.
