IT Manager

As the IT Manager at Brandworks Technology Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Hardware Management:** - Supervising the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware infrastructure, such as servers, computers, printers, and peripheral devices. - Managing hardware inventory to ensure equipment and spares availability. - Implementing best practices for hardware life cycle management, including upgrades, replacements, and disposal. - **Network Management:** - Ensuring proper design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches. - Monitoring network performance, security, and scalability to meet organizational needs and resolve network-related issues promptly. - Managing wireless infrastructure for seamless connectivity across locations. - **Security Management:** - Implementing network and hardware security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats. - Ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations through regular security audits and risk assessments. - **Vendor and Asset Management:** - Managing relationships with vendors and service providers for hardware procurement and network services. - Negotiating contracts for hardware acquisition, support, and maintenance services. - Tracking and managing hardware and networking assets for optimal utilization and cost-efficiency. - **Compliance & Documentation:** - Maintaining accurate documentation of hardware and network configurations, changes, and issues. - Ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards such as ISO and ITIL. - Staying updated with new trends and technologies in the IT hardware and networking domain and recommending improvements. - **Budgeting & Planning:** - Planning and managing the budget for hardware purchases and networking infrastructure. - Forecasting future hardware and networking needs based on business growth and technology trends. - Optimizing cost and performance of IT hardware and network systems. - **Disaster Recovery & Backup:** - Developing and implementing disaster recovery strategies for network and hardware systems. - Ensuring regular data backups and smooth recovery of critical IT infrastructure in case of failure. - **User Support & Troubleshooting:** - Providing advanced troubleshooting and support for hardware and network issues faced by end users. - Ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents related to hardware and networking. - Implementing proactive monitoring tools to anticipate and resolve hardware and network problems. - **Performance Monitoring & Optimization:** - Monitoring hardware and network performance to ensure optimal operation. - Identifying and implementing opportunities for improving hardware and network performance, including upgrading components or reconfiguring systems.
