IT Lead Engineer - ReactJs

Job description

We are looking for a skilled IT Lead Engineer - ReactJs with a strong expertise in React.js to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain robust and scalable web services. You will be responsible for building modern, responsive web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of front-end technologies, a keen eye for design, and experience working in agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and related libraries.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, functional code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and product managers.
• Manage state with tools like Redux.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of development practices.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code, adhering to best coding standards and practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in React or similar Javascript framework.
• Experience working with UI libraries/frameworks like Material UI or Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Skills

• Proficiency in React.js, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Understanding of accessibility and web performance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and MS Project.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
