IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager (Contract Position)

IT Infrastructure ManagementSystem Administration (Windows/Linux)Networking & Endpoint ManagementCloud Platforms (Hybrid/Cloud-native)Incident ManagementITSM Tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk)Compliance Standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)Security, Monitoring, and Automation ToolsVendor & Budget ManagementAsset Lifecycle ManagementWhat You Will Do:Infrastructure & System Operations:Manage daily IT operations: servers, networks, databases, endpoints, and cloud infrastructureMonitor performance, capacity, and proactively troubleshoot system issuesService Delivery & Incident Management:Lead major incident response, communication, and root cause analysisTrack SLAs, KPIs, and ensure high system reliabilitySecurity & Compliance:Enforce compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and internal policiesSupport audits and certifications with InfoSecVendor & Budget Management:Manage IT vendors, renewals, and procurementOptimize IT budgets and oversee asset lifecycleAutomation & Improvement:Automate processes: provisioning, patching, and monitoringEnhance IT support workflows and system resilienceCollaboration:Work with engineering, product, compliance, and HR teams for infrastructure alignmentSupport onboarding/offboarding processesRequirements:8+ years of experience in IT operations/infrastructure roles2+ years in a leadership or managerial positionStrong experience with hybrid/cloud-native environmentsHands-on with Windows/Linux systems, networking, and cloud toolsFamiliarity with ITSM platforms like Jira Service DeskKnowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS compliance standardsExperience with automation, patching, monitoring, and security toolingExcellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skillsExperience with global/distributed teams is a plus
