Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Help Desk Specialist located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. The Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and help desk support, troubleshooting desktop computers and providing customer support.

• Help Desk phone support computer or telecom related issues.
• Update and create documentation.
• Recommend, direct, and implement network infrastructure improvements.
• Oversee large projects that require managing the resources of the I.T. department.
• Install appropriate software packages, operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
• Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
• Provide updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users.
• Administer all computer and phone systems.

Qualifications

• Strong technical support and help desk support skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop computers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experience in a help desk or technical support role
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
