IT Executive

A school IT Executive manages and maintains the school's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff and students, ensuring network and hardware reliability, overseeing data security, and implementing technology solutions that support educational goals. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software, managing networks and systems, supporting educational platforms, and potentially assisting with IT-related training. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to staff and students, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• System Maintenance: Maintain and update hardware and software systems, ensuring they are current and functional.
• Network Management: Oversee the operation and health of the school's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and VPNs.
• Data Security: Implement and enforce data security measures, including managing antivirus, firewalls, and data backup protocols.
• Technology Implementation: Assist in setting up new equipment and integrating new technologies to support educational and administrative needs.
• User Assistance: Provide guidance and assistance to users on IT-related queries, potentially offering basic training on new systems or software.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to school operations.
