As a leading engineering and con-sulting company in the rail sector, DB Engineering & Consulting offers that knowledge starting with an idea and continuing all the way to operations We advise our customers in Germany and around the globe, develop technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility and transport solutions With sustainable concepts, we ensure the future success of economic regions, make important contri-butions to the protection of the environment, and help shape the world of the future, Since 1966, DB Engineering & Consulting has implemented thousands of projects of any size and complexity in over 100 countries About 5,000 employees from 84 nations are currently realizing the projects of our customers with professional knowledge and intercultural experience, We are looking for a "Senior Environmental Expert" in Gurugram, India at Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting Sr Environment Lead end-to-end environmental approvals and clearances, authority permissions for eco-sensitive areas, pollution control consents, and tree cutting/transplantation permits, Ensure project compliance with applicable national and state environmental regulations, rules, and acts, regulation, pollution control consents, and tree protection requirements, Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management and Mitigation Plans (EMMP/EMP); conduct environmental performance evaluations of contractors and project teams, Design and administer an online Environmental Performance Evaluation & Management System (eg, e-PEMS) for standardized site performance audits, KPIs, dashboards, and corrective action tracking, Prepare operation-phase environmental and climate control manuals, aligning with energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, passenger comfort, and low-carbon operations, Ensure compliance with international funding agency safeguards (eg, ADB, NDB, World Bank/IFC equivalence), including ESIA/IEE, ESMP, LMP, SEP, GRM, and periodic reporting as per loan covenants, Coordinate Noise & Vibration studies, baseline monitoring, impact assessments, and mitigation design; review rolling stock, track form, building envelope, and wayside solutions for N&V control, Oversee construction-phase compliance: waste, air, water, noise, hazardous materials, biodiversity protection, soil and groundwater management, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting, Qualifications: Graduate in Civil Engineering or Diploma At least 10 years of Professional Experience Profound experience in Metro Rail projects, More than 5/3 years the General consultancy / General engineering consultancy / Project management consultancy / Independent engineers for project implementation authority for the Metro rail projects, English knowledge is required; Knowledge of local language (Hindi) will add more value,
