Railways for the world of tomorrow , For this project we are seeking a Chief Signaling Expert (f/m/d) for the Bangalore Metro Project in India, Deutsche Bahns expertise is in high demand all around the world As a leading engineering and consulting company in the rail sector, DB Engineering & Consulting offers that knowledge starting with an idea and continuing all the way to operations We advise our customers in Germany and around the globe, develop technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility and transport solutions With sustainable concepts, we ensure the future success of economic regions, make important contributions to the protection of the environment and help shape the world of the future, Since 1966, DB Engineering & Consulting has implemented thousands of projects of any size and complexity in over 100 countries About 5,000 employees from 84 nations are currently realizing the projects of our customers with professional knowledge and intercultural experience, Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the Signaling Team and ensure that all aspects related to the Program Life Cycle are considered and implemented in a timely and effective manner Responsible for field Supervision of manufacturing, test & commissioning of signaling equipment Assist in preparing the design specifications, tender documents for signaling systems as well as the procurement and installation of signaling systems and PSD Manage and review construction, operation and maintenance manuals of Signalling systems and PSD Assist in reviewing the input given by the signalling contractor for Combined Services Drawings(CSDs) Report regularly to the Project Director as well as provide recommendations Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Branch of Engineering and preferably a Masters Degree Minimum 20 years of overall experience with at least 10 years of professional work experience in the International market Minimum 10 years of experience in Railway/Metro Projects and at least one project of Metro in relevant field Experience in working in either of planning, design, tender, manufacture, installation, or operation stage of at least one metro project having UTO (GoA4) system The position is valid for 18 months and includes a possibility of being extended Fluency in English including writing and presenting information in the appropriate formats to various stakeholders Great analytical and decision making skills as well as business communication skills, Benefits: Were strong believers in continual training and development for our people After all, your success is our success, DB Schenker provides a Total Rewards Package comprised of competitive wages, comprehensive benefits and reward systems, Our vacation and leave policies reflect our belief in proper work-life balance,
