IT Coordinator

The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations, including network, systems, and server support. You will ensure the uninterrupted functionality of the Hospital Management System (HMS) used by the hospital, encompassing IP/OP, billing, pharmacy, lab, etc. Your duties will involve providing on-site technical support and training to staff on using the HMS software efficiently, troubleshooting HMS-related issues, and coordinating with software vendors for escalations and updates. It is crucial to maintain user access, backups, data integrity, and security within the HMS while also installing, configuring, and maintaining hospital hardware such as PCs, printers, biometric devices, CCTV, routers, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of IT systems in all hospital departments including OPD, IPD, Reception, Lab, Pharmacy, and Billing. Regular system and network audits will be performed by you to ensure compliance and smooth performance. Keeping records of software licenses, IT assets, and user logs will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist in digital initiatives like telemedicine, EMR, e-prescriptions, etc. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BCA / BSc IT / BE / B.Tech). Certifications in basic networking, hardware, or HMS training are preferred. The ideal candidate should have at least 13 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a hospital or clinical setup, with prior experience working with any Hospital Management System (HMS).
