Position Overview
At Zepto, we are seeking an experienced IT support Engineer to monitor and oversee all IT infrastructure across Darkstores and Motherhubs. This role is critical in ensuring seamless IT infrastructure, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting Zepto's rapid expansion while delivering exceptional uptime and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an organization's IT infrastructure, acting as a liaison between users and the technical team to ensure smooth operations
- Strategically collaborate with all project teams to ensure consistent alignment across all deployment-related activities.
- Analyze network logs and data to identify trends and root causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-wan environments, including MX, MS, MR, and Systems Manager components.
- Engage in formal liaison with internal teams and cross-functional technical representatives.
- Provide expert recommendations to internal teams regarding the deployment of new features.
- Implement changes as applicable, conduct rigorous testing, and facilitate formal handover.
- Resolve complex issues related to Network Deployment.
Identify potential failure points and recommend strategic mitigation solutions.
- Provide Level 1 support for network-related issues, including escalations from the service desk and Level 1 support teams.
- Manage and troubleshoot TP-Link environments, including router, Load Balancer, Switches, Access Points and Systems Manager components like omada controller.
- Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Implement configuration changes and support Meraki dashboard operations, including policy updates, firmware upgrades, and site deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network projects, expansions, and security improvements.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records in accordance with change management procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a network engineering/support role.
- Proven experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet SD-WAN solutions (Meraki certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLANs, NAT, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with network performance and connectivity issues.
- Ability to work well in team-oriented environments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Meraki Dashboard, Fortinet and other Monitoring dasboards).
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Maintain and update the knowledge base with documented known errors.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability and flexibility to work 24x7 shifts.
- Thorough understanding of procedures, applications, and concepts within the relevant subject area and their application within the business context.
