Job Summary

Dr. Aravind’s IVF Hospital is seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Associate to manage day-to-day IT operations, ensure smooth functioning of hospital systems, and support clinical, laboratory, and administrative teams. The role is crucial in maintaining secure, uninterrupted digital healthcare services and hospital information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hospital software, hardware, and network systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hospital Management System (HMS), EMR/EHR, and billing software
• Support IVF lab systems, ultrasound machines, printers, biometric devices, and workstations
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, switches, and firewall systems
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery in compliance with healthcare standards
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and antivirus software
• Coordinate with external vendors for system upgrades, AMC, and hardware procurement
• Monitor system performance and minimize downtime in critical clinical areas
• Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset records
• Assist staff with login issues, access rights, and basic software training
• Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies and patient data confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support (hospital or healthcare experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware troubleshooting
• Familiarity with HMS, EMR, or healthcare software is an advantage
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data protection
• Ability to handle pressure in a clinical environment
