Job Description

The Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC) role involves ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet the required quality standards before they are used in production. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve any quality issues.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure quality standards are met.
Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformance issues.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results for compliance and auditing purposes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality inspection process.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques such as calipers, gauges, and measurement systems.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
