Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a IPDRG Coder. The IPDRG Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical records, coding diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and guidelines, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding rules and guidelines. The IPDRG Coder will also work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation and coding accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG coding
• Experience in medical record review and coding
• Knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines related to medical coding
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) preferred
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
