IPD Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of the In-Patient Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, optimal resource utilization, and effective coordination between medical, nursing, and administrative teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Oversight – Ensure timely admission, stay, and discharge processes for all in-patients.
• Team Management – Supervise nursing staff, ward boys, and administrative executives; manage schedules and duty rosters.
• Operational Coordination – Liaise with doctors, lab, pharmacy, and other departments for seamless patient services.
• Quality & Compliance – Monitor patient satisfaction, maintain medical records, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory norms.
• Resource Management – Manage bed occupancy, inventory of medical supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Reporting – Prepare daily IPD census, occupancy reports, and other operational MIS for management review.
• Training & Development – Conduct staff training for service excellence, safety, and process updates.
• Conflict Resolution – Address patient and family grievances promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hospital operations or IPD management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hospital management software.

Work Environment:
Full-time, hospital-based, may require working in shifts or on weekends as per operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
