We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IoT Tech Lead to guide the architecture, development, and deployment of our Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. You will lead a cross - functional team of embedded engineers, cloud developers, and data engineers to design scalable, secure, and reliable IoT systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about connected devices, has a deep technical background in IoT ecosystems, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities:
Ø Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end IoT solutions (device-to-cloud). Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the platform.
Ø Mentor and guide development teams across firmware, hardware, mobile, and cloud platforms. Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders.
Ø Define best practices for hardware integration, communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, BLE, etc.), cloud ingestion, and edge computing.
Ø Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards. Drive agile practices and DevOps culture in the IoT development lifecycle.
Ø Implement and enforce device security, OTA updates, data encryption, and compliance with standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.
Ø Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in the IoT space. Evaluate new tools and platforms for potential adoption.
Requirements:Ø Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
field
Ø Proven experience in IoT systems, including embedded systems, connectivity, and cloud platforms
Ø Strong knowledge of protocols like MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, etc.
Ø Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT Core)
Ø Familiarity with edge computing frameworks (e.g., Azure IoT Edge, AWS Greengrass)
Ø Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32, etc.), RTOS, and firmware development
Ø Understanding of cybersecurity principles in connected systems
Ø Experience leading agile development teams and managing cross-functional projects
Ø Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ø Experience in industrial IoT (IIoT), smart buildings, automotive, or healthcare
Ø Familiarity with digital twin concepts and data analytics for IoT
Ø Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD in embedded environments
Ø Certification in AWS/Azure IoT or similar platforms.
