Job Description – React Native Developer (Mobile App for Heart Rhythm Monitoring)

Position: React Native Developer – Cross-Platform App with Medical Device Integration

Experience: 2–4 years

Domain: HealthTech / IoT Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities:-

● Build and maintain high-quality React Native applications for iOS and Android with a focus on performance, stability, and medical accuracy.

● Design smooth and responsive UI/UX, ensuring no lags or UI glitches, even during real-time data processing.

● Develop custom native modules in Swift (iOS) and Java/Kotlin (Android) to:

○ Integrate with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.

○ Communicate with USB OTG medical devices even without 3rd-party plugin support.

● Use Axios for robust REST API integrations, handling auth, error states, and loading indicators.

● Implement Redux / Redux Toolkit for clean, centralized state management across the app.

● Integrate Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android / APNs for iOS) for real-time alerts (e.g., abnormal heart readings).

● Visualize real-time ECG data using react-native-svg or similar performant libraries.

● Store and manage local data (e.g., logs, signal snapshots) using SQLite / secure storage.

● Handle complete app publishing workflows: certificate management, provisioning profiles, TestFlight, Play Store console.

● Carefully assess and integrate any 3rd-party SDKs/tools, only after reviewing compatibility, data privacy, and performance impact.

Required Skills:-

● Solid experience with React Native, TypeScript, and React Hooks.

● Strong grasp of Redux / Redux Toolkit or similar state management libraries.

● Proficient in REST API integration using Axios or Fetch.

● Experience with push notifications setup and handling (FCM / APNs).

● Deep understanding of native bridging (Swift + Java/Kotlin) and hardware-level device communication.

● Familiarity with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) protocols and USB OTG communication for data transfer.

● Experience with real-time data rendering, especially for signal-like data (ECG/waveform).

● Knowledge of App Store and Play Store publishing processes.

Nice to Have:-

● Experience in WebSocket / MQTT based live data transfer.

● Knowledge of signal processing basics (e.g., R-peak detection, noise filtering).

● Familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) and secure storage practices.

● Worked on diagnostic, wearable, or medical IoT apps previously.

You’ll Work On:-

● A production-ready mobile app for real-time heart rhythm monitoring using external ECG/medical devices.

● A platform that blends custom hardware communication with smooth modern UI and secure health data management.

● Feature-rich mobile UX with real-time alerts, logs, history view, and app-sharing of critical health info.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
