Investment Strategist

Role Overview: As an individual with relevant experience in equity research and writing investment reports, you will be responsible for interacting with UHNW clients and presenting investment ideas. Your role will involve understanding equity markets, investing, and portfolios, as well as collaborating with dealers, equity specialists, and equity advisors. Your primary goal will be to strengthen the SCSI position in the local market by providing high-quality investment reports to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, write reports, and explain investment ideas to frontend dealers and clients - Support portfolio manager and CIO in asset management - Demonstrate a good understanding of equity research, business valuations, and stock identification - Utilize interpersonal skills to network effectively with cross-functional teams - Solve problems creatively with both conventional and innovative approaches - Work collaboratively with senior members of the Investment Strategy team - Identify and suggest opportunities for performance improvement across the team - Foster a collaborative environment within the team and across various departments - Ensure compliance with Group Policies, local laws, regulations, and established controls and procedures - Stay updated on local regulations and industry initiatives to proactively adapt to regulatory changes - Engage with business and functional partners to enhance product offerings and sales discipline Qualifications: - Post Graduate/MBA - 2-6 years of experience in equity research - Strong grasp of valuations and financial products - Responsibilities for revenue, product development, process, systems, and risk management Additional Details of the Company: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
