About The Role

We’re on a mission to build a portfolio of high-performing digital businesses—and we’re looking for an Investment Research Intern who can help us find and close the next big deal.As an intern, you’ll help research potential acquisitions and partnerships, assist in evaluating market trends, review financial data, and support the team through different stages of the deal process. You’ll collaborate with various teams and get hands-on exposure to how digital investments are made.This is a great role for someone who enjoys digging into data, learning fast, and wants to explore the world of digital business investing.

What You’ll Do

• Help identify and research companies that fit our investment goals & thesis.
• Assist in evaluating potential acquisition or partnership opportunities.
• Keep our internal CRM updated with conversations and follow-ups with potential sellers.
• Use platforms like email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp to reach out to founders and build connections.
• Support the team in building relationships with business owners and staying in touch until they’re ready to sell.
• Help update financial models and analyze potential returns and risks.
• Assist in gathering and reviewing financial, operational, and strategic information during due diligence.
• Work with the team during deal structuring and negotiations.
• Help prepare key legal documents like Contracts, NDAs, and investment summaries, with guidance.
• Be comfortable using AI tools and applying AI-driven thinking to support research and problem-solving.
  

The Ideal Applicant

• Can start a work-from-home internship immediately.
• Available for a 3-month internship, with the possibility of extension and a PPO based on performance.
• Must be an undergraduate student from a Tier 1 college in their final semester or recently graduated.
• Has a strong interest in business, finance, or startups—especially in the digital space.
• Familiarity with basic financial concepts (like P&L and balance sheets) and comfortable with financial data platforms such as Yahoo Finance, Screener, etc.
• Brings a detail-oriented, structured approach to research and analysis.
• Communicates clearly and confidently in English, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Docs, and CRM platforms.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
