Job Description

Responsibilities

Supporting our clients on Financial Sponsor coverage covering multiple industries including Technology, Media, Telecom, Consumer, Retail, Industrials, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Metal & Mining, Oil & Gas, among other industries
Working live with clients and managing their library of portfolio companies by tracking live entry/exit of deals
Deal comparison, PE Portfolio tracking and making respective changes in client database
Precedent deals identification; PE Strategy identification
Advanced excel and effective communication skills
Should be able to prepare and pitch books, company profiles, strip profiles, precedent transactions comps, industry study, company focused discussion documents in a particular industry.
Provide high quality analysis on projects including critical industry or market analysis, company reports, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth secondary research.
Contribute towards managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”.
Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment.

Required Background

MBA/ CFA/ CA
Experience of 2-4 year supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm
The candidate should have the ability to work as part of the team and independently as per the requirement
Good written and spoken communication skills
Working knowledge of databases such as Preqin, Factset, Merger Market, etc.
MS Office skills – should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
