Investment and Business Analyst Clean Energy Financing

We are looking for a driven and analytical Investment and Business Analyst (ideally Pre-MBA) with 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, or management consulting. While previous experience in clean energy or infrastructure is a plus, it is not mandatory. As a key member of our lean team, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with firm leadership, gaining exposure to various aspects of a Financing business. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and analyzing potential investment opportunities in diverse clean energy sectors, conducting financial modeling, supporting due diligence, and market research. You will be expected to prepare investment memos, presentations, and materials for internal committees and external stakeholders, and contribute to the end-to-end investment process, including deal execution and portfolio management. In this role, you will also be involved in market, industry, and competitor research, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and recommend strategies to optimize business systems and processes. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and support the adoption of new systems and technologies by leading training and ensuring smooth transitions. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field with strong academic performance. You should have 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or venture capital/private equity. Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should demonstrate research and analytical abilities, business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
