Investment and Business Analyst

As an Investment and Business Analyst with 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, or management consulting, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on clean energy and infrastructure investments. Your role will involve evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, market research, and stakeholder presentations. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to contribute to firm strategy and business development initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include assessing investment opportunities in clean energy sectors, building financial models, preparing investment memos and presentations, conducting market research, and supporting the end-to-end investment process. You will also be involved in analyzing current operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and recommending strategies for business optimization. Additionally, you will support the adoption of new systems and technologies by leading training sessions and ensuring smooth transitions. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or venture capital/private equity. Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, along with a motivation to learn and work on investments supporting the energy transition and sustainability, will be key to your success. While prior experience in clean energy or infrastructure investing is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A Pre-MBA candidate with progress towards a CFA or related qualifications is preferred but not required.
