We are seeking a visionary Design Director — a creative force of non-Indian origin — who can infuse our collections with the refined handwriting of European design while celebrating the depth and diversity of Indian craft.This is an extraordinary opportunity to lead a design house that believes in storytelling through texture, technique, and timeless detail — and to build a globally resonant creative language for a brand poised for international expansion.Key Responsibilities
Lead the creative direction and vision for seasonal collections across diverse product categories.Curate trend concepts, mood narratives, and design capsules inspired by global runways, art, and culture.Collaborate closely with our weaving, printing, embroidery, and garmenting teams to translate design vision into reality.Partner with international buyers and brands to create collections that reflect modern sophistication and global relevance.Drive innovation in fabrics, finishes, and silhouettes while preserving artisanal integrity.Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a passionate in-house design team across India.Represent Tulip Creations as a creative ambassador in global fashion conversations, fairs, and collaborations.Who You Are
A creative professional of Non-Indian Origin — preferably from Europe or the United Kingdom — with a deep understanding of global fashion movements.Graduate of a leading design institution such as Central Saint Martins, Polimoda, Esmod, or similar.7–15 years of experience in design direction or leadership within luxury, contemporary, or export fashion.Deep knowledge of fabric development, embroidery, color theory, and silhouette refinement.A storyteller by nature, with a distinctive aesthetic sensibility and strong commercial awareness.Natural mentor and leader — capable of inspiring creative teams and elevating design identity.What We Offer
