Intern

Role Overview: As an intern, you will be assisting in the assessment, planning, and implementation of developmental interventions for children under supervision. This role will provide you with hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced therapists, allowing you to contribute to real cases and support families in developmental activities. Your responsibilities will include conducting developmental assessments, developing individual intervention plans, supporting therapy sessions, observing and documenting child progress, participating in family coaching, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in conducting developmental assessments including motor, cognition, language, social, and adaptive domains - Help develop individual intervention plans under supervision - Support the delivery of therapy sessions and intervention activities - Observe and document child progress while maintaining accurate records - Participate in family and caregiver coaching and education - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators - Assist in the preparation of training materials, resources, and therapy aids Qualifications Required: - Student or recent graduate in Child Development, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or a related field - Basic knowledge of child development and developmental delays - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Empathetic, patient, reliable, and eager to learn - Ability to work under guidance and willingness to accept feedback - Preferred: Some prior exposure or volunteer work in children or developmental/special needs settings - Preferred: Skills in documentation, use of Microsoft Office, and record-keeping Contact: +91 9633389696 Email: care@velorawellness.in Note: The job type is an internship, and the work location is in person.,
