Position Overview:

The Styling Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Styling Assistance: Collaborate with the styling team to source and pull clothing, accessories, and props for photoshoots. Help organize and maintain the styling inventory.
• Set Preparation: Assist in setting up the shoot location, ensuring all styling elements are in place and ready for use. This may include steaming garments, arranging props, and preparing the dressing area for models.
• On-Set Support: Be present during photoshoots to provide support to the styling team. Help dress and style models, make necessary adjustments during the shoot, and ensure the styling vision is being realized.
• Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, styles, and industry developments to contribute fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with photographers, models, hair and makeup artists, and other team members to ensure a smooth and productive photoshoot process.
• Post-Production Support: Assist in the organization and maintenance of clothing and accessories after the shoot. Help with the return of borrowed items to designers and stores.
• Creative Input: Offer creative input and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and styling meetings. Contribute to the development of mood boards and visual concepts for upcoming photoshoots.
• Industry Networking: Attend industry events, if possible, to build connections and expand knowledge of the fashion and photography industry.
• Will assist social media team in presenting visually pleasing VM, doing reels etc.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in fashion, styling, photography, or a related field.
• A strong interest in fashion, styling, and the creative process of photoshoots.
• Basic understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and clothing styles.
• Knowledge of various fashion brands and designers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using styling tools (steamer, clothing rack, etc.) is a plus.
